Happy Birthday Kiley! and other random pics...

It was Kiley's Birthday this Saturday! This was the first time I ever had a husband have a birthday...and for some reason I think I stressed out about it a little too much! But despite everything, I think the day turned out pretty
good. :)
Cadance and Alissa came over Friday night for a sleepover and got up early the next morning to help me decorate the family room.
It was lot's of fun

Look at that fantastic decorating job! I think we make a good team :)

Ok, so I have to brag a little just cause I was a kinda' proud of myself for even attempting this. I made Kiley's entire birthday cake from scratch! It was a German Chocolate cake, complete with homemade coconuty-almondy frosting stuff. :) I was pretty pleased/amazed with how it turned out...although I will admit that the eggs were a pain!

I found the recipe online and you can see it by clicking HERE! (And yes, I did leave the Rum Syrup part out :) I had lot's of fun making it.

Then later that day we had a fun birthday party with Chip, Nicole and the kids.

It's probably a good thing that our smoke detectors are currently not working ;)

Opening presents

Then some friends came over and we played a few games.

All-in-all I think it was a pretty good day. Happy Birthday Sweetie!!
Love you! :)

Here are just a few before and after pics of our house...well, I guess just our family room. The rest of the house isn't nearly finished. Kiley and I stayed up till past midnight one night hanging pictures. After 6 months of living in this house I was tired of having them all on the floor.

Before...

After!

Kiley and I are especially proud of that long...thing on our wall. :) That's something I purchased in a clearance sale before we were even married. We fixed it up a bit and added Dollar Store mirrors and some of his handi-crafts from his mission. We think it turned out pretty
nice. :)

And here is a random pic of my amazing hubby holding a chicken. :)

Lake to Lake

I know these are late, but I just wanted to share some of the pictures I took from the race Kiley and his family ran in at the beginning of March. This was such a fun race to watch! I am really considering doing it next year...if I can get into shape after this pregnancy!

The 2011 Lake to Lake Team Relay Race!
I missed Kiley's first leg, but I heard he did really good!

Ha ha I just had to put this one on here. I took this picture right before he was going to run his second leg. He was saying "What? I'm not doing this next year!" :)

Waiting for Shane to come in.

Getting ready for the "hand-off" from Shane. This was Kiley's second and last leg, but it sure was a hard one!
This is my amazing hubby finishing strong! I was so proud of him!

Kiley after finishing the hardest leg on the course. He did so good! (I like to brag about him ;)

At the end of the race!

Everyone did so good! They are all so amazing!

Here are all of the runners!
Sanders and Woodburys

The amazing Sanders team! Woo hoo!

Party!!

This is the sticker that was on the Cutie I ate for lunch today! It made me laugh and I thought it applied to this pregnancy and our little girl very well. :)

Yes, almost everyday it feels like our little girl is having her own little party in my belly. I absolutely love it! Kiley and I could sit and just feel her moving for hours. :)

We were very blessed a few weeks ago to be able to go to the doctors for another ultrasound. They didn't quite get all of the measurements they needed the first time so, lucky us, we were able to go and see her on the "big screen" again! This was the picture they printed off for us this time.
Isn't she CUTE?! :)

And here is the baby "bump" at almost 26 weeks!

Anyways, what else have we been up to?...besides school? Not much actually. I did manage to take a few pictures of us decorating sugar cookies with the kids for Valentines Day. That was lots of fun. We always love spending time over at Chip and Nicole's.

Here are some of the cookies Kiley and I decorated. Yummy!

I woke up Valentine's Day to a rose in my bathroom and later in the day Kiley gave me this cute little girls outfit! It's the first outfit that we've bought for our little girl. I love my Hubby. :)

Right now Kiley and I have been working on FINALLY getting all of our pictures up on our walls! We are almost finished in the family room and I must say it looks so much better without bare walls. My next big project, once we get all the pictures hung, is of course the BABY ROOM! Thoughts of pink, lace and cute girly things constantly fill my mind these days. It's so fun! :)
