Baby Girl

Last week Kiley and I went to the doctor's and found out that this little energetic (yes, she is moving a TON now!) baby inside of me is actually a LITTLE GIRL! We are so thrilled and excited!
This is my first "baby bump" picture!
When the doctor pulled up the first picture it was obvious that this was Kiley and I's first time doing this...we both thought it was a picture of a little boy. :) So you can imagine our surprise when the doctor pointed to the picture and said, "So this right here tells us it's a girl!"

Here is a picture of her giving us the "I love you" sign.

And another picture of her cute foot! (I think she might have inherited her mom's big feet...)

The 3D pictures were very fun! We could see her cute little profile and hands.

As we continued to watch her and look at pictures of her I couldn't help but cry a little. Whenever Kiley and I get to "see" her it makes this whole experience seem more real. Before we know it we will be able to hold this little girl in our arms!
In Sunday school this week we had a lesson about our Father in Heaven. I always knew that He loves each and everyone of His children, but I think I understand it a little bit more now. And I know this is only the beginning. When this beautiful little baby is born my eyes will continue to be opened to the love parents have for their children.

Our First Christmas

WOW!! What a Christmas!
This whole winter break from school was just what Kiley and I needed! We had so much fun with everyone! But by far, our favorite thing about this holiday was the chance we had to spend it with the people we love most. We couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present.
My favorite part about this Christmas was
being a married woman. :) Now that might sound silly, but none of the other Christmas' can compare to my first Christmas with my hubby. I love him more than anything!

Well, through all the hustle and bustle of everything I managed to
snag a few fun pictures of our very first Christmas together.

Before we left to Moab we had a little fun in Cedar City. We dressed up for our ward Christmas party (we were some of the few who actually dressed up, but it was still fun!),

and we trimmed our Christmas tree!

Kiley had lot's of fun putting this tree together.

But after Kiley had his fun, we got out the real decorations. :)

When we got to Moab Kiley didn't waste any time.
He had been looking forward to playing my bro's in some intense games of chess and stratego! (Being sick and pregnant, I'm not much fun for him to play games with. :)

My nieces and nephews made Christmas SO much fun! It had been a long time since
I had a Christmas with little kids around. I loved it!

Brooklyn's happy face is so cute I could eat her all up!

Maylie is getting so big!

And Addy is just as sweet as ever. :)

Kiley can work miracles! He got out my old sewing machine that has never worked and got it running! He didn't get it to completely work, but hey it's running!

Kiley and I got our first baby gifts. Thanks Ash!

Santa even visited!

Mom got us all matching PJ's!

#7 all the way!

We were able to be Santas helpers on Christmas Eve. That was so much fun.

Our first Christmas together!

Mom really went out of her way this year. For a special present she made doughnuts on Christmas day. They were SO good!

Gingerbread house's are a pretty big deal at our house. Everyone got really creative, I was pretty impressed!

Kiley and I made a Sander's Logging truck. I was pretty proud of it!

We even had Kiley working with a chainsaw. :)

Now let's see, there was a boot camp, igloo, gingerbread house, Phantom of the Opera stage, tank, helicopter, choo-choo train, fire truck, and logging truck. It was so fun to see how creative everyone was! But now I think Kiley and I are going to struggle coming up with a new idea for the next year!

Games are a must at my house! Scrabble was just one of the few we played.

Well, now we are back in Cedar City, getting ready for the new semester. But we are still having fun!
This is the tomato juice can castle that Kiley made. He wants to keep adding to it...but I'm not sure exactly how much longer it will be around. ;)

The next big thing on our list is finding out what "flavor" (to quote my Aunt Marty) this little baby growing in my belly is. We'll keep you posted!
