Fishing, Azuree's Birthday & Cousins

Right now is such a fun time in the life of our little family. There are so many fun things going on and so many fun changes. Our girls are growing so fast and it seems like there's something new happening every day. I'm afraid that I'll blink and the time I have now with my girls is going to be over. So I figured I should become a little better at documenting this time so that I will at least be able to remember it later. Here are some fun pictures of what we've been up to :)
We took Azuree and Emri fishing for the first time on free fishing day and Azuree loved it! She almost caught a fish too but unfortunately it came off the line just before we got it to the shore. Oh well, saved us the trouble of getting it off the hook right?
She even has her own pink princess fishing pole :)
Emri and I mostly just watched and played with the rocks :)
How lucky am I to have these 3 cuties in my life?! I love them so much!
Last week on Saturday we went to a farmers market in St. George with Kiley's parents to see how the Septarian Nodules would sell there. It was actually really fun!
The girls had fun too! They became so black and dirty from walking/crawling around on the asphalt, it was kind of nasty.
After the farmers market we went to the splash pad! Azuree and Emri had never been to a splash pad before. Azuree was very timid at first but it didn't take long for her to absolutely love it. When it was time to go home she didn't want to leave :)
Emri loved it too! She wasn't sure what to think about it at first either...
But she eventually came to love it as well!
Azuree's totally into the selfie taking scene these days...
and I love it!! Some of them are just hilarious!
This little sweetheart turned 3 this sunday!! I still have a hard time believing that we have a 3 year old... She had such a fun time on her birthday. She was able to go to church and nursery (which she absolutely loves) and spend lot's of time with her cousins and aunts and uncles. It was such a special day!
She got this cute little cape and mask from Chip and Nicole's family and she loves it! She wears it all over the place.
This is the cake I made her. I was pink and purple on the inside :)
Happy Birthday Azuree! You make us so happy! We love you so much! Here are just a few things about Azuree...in the words of Azuree. A lot of these things seem to change almost everyday...
  • Azuree's favorite color is red.
  • Her favorite food is ice cream. (She told the doctor at her well child checkup that her favorite food was "Ice cream after I finish my dinner." :)
  • Her favorite thing to do is "play! And to share." (so she says...ha ha)
  • Her favorite toy is her "kitchen stuff."
  • Her favorite book is "spider book." (I have no idea what book that is...)
  • Her favorite movie is Sophia the First.
  • Her favorite song is "I love you a bushel and a peck!"
Here's a quick pic of Emri on Azuree's birthday too. She loves shoes now! She will carry her shoes over to me so that I will put them on her :)
We were lucky enough to have my brother Nathan and his family come and spend the last two days with us. It was so much fun to see them! I was going to try and get a pic of all the little girl cousins together but these were the only two I was able to get. They had so much fun playing together :)
Wow, that is only a weeks worth of pictures...I can't wait for the rest of the summer!

Why Do I Update My Blog??

"Why does she keep updating that silly blog?" you ask.... To show off my cute family of course!! ;) And...I guess I keep randomly updating this blog because I am hoping that someday I will actually get to print my posts in a book and it will be a wonderful and marvelous thing to have...it also helps take care of some of the guilt I feel for not being very good AT ALL at writing in my journal. But I'm not very good at blogging either so...I guess I'm just a terrible person all around.
Anyways...here are some fun pics for your entertainment...and hopefully someday for that book :)
Kiley's dad and brother's have been doing a little mining during the logging off-season. They are mining septarian nodules. (Don't worry, we didn't know what they were till they started mining them either...) But here's an example of one that they mine...
These rocks are very rare and unique to Utah.
During the last few months we have gone for many drives...

 Eaten some chocolate...
Posed while daddy experimented with the different settings on the camera...

And our little Emri turned one!...

She was teething (or something) on her birthday and she was NOT happy all day.

Even though she was unhappy, I was still able to snap a few cute pics of her on her birthday...
This picture explains perfectly how she was for the whole day. Poor girl, it made me so sad.
But that didn't keep her from enjoying her cupcake!

We had a small birthday party for her at a nearby park. She was so spoiled with lots of fun gifts from her family and friends :)

And you'd better believe Azuree was right there to help open all the gifts!
This ball is what Azuree picked out especially for her little sister :) Thank you so much to everyone who came and made it such a fun party!
Over the past few months we danced...a lot...
 Posed for Daddy again...
Spent Easter at Grandma and Grandpa Sanders house...
 Azuree and cousin Logan
It was such a fun day!

The Easter Bunny was even able to find us at Grandma's house :)

We colored...
We stopped at the petting zoo in Scipio on the way home...
You can't tell by her face, but Azuree really loved the animals :)

We ate...

 We played dress up...
Some old friends of Kiley's came to visit...
And we took them on a drive up Kolob Canyon...
It was windy and cold but still beautiful!
We really enjoyed spending some time with Allen and Enya!
Mommy tried curlers in Azuree's hair...she ended up looking like a poodle, poor girl :)

 We played more dress-ups...
We went to Uncle Layton's graduation...
Azuree had her face painted by Aunt Symony at the Moab Art's Festival...
We played at Grandma Call's house...
And we drove some more. It was a very busy and tiring few months....
Well...adios for now!
