Azuree's First Christmas

Azuree's first Christmas was so much fun! It was definitely different than any other Christmas Kiley and I had ever had before. First of all we had a little baby to spend it with which was so special! I was so much fun picking out presents for her and watching her "open" the gifts. The other reason it was different was the fact that we had decided to stay in Cedar City for our first Christmas with Azuree. Our modest, quiet Christmas was definitely different than Christmas was with our parents. It was very nice and very special though. It made me so excited for next year! :) 

Last year Kiley and I weren't able to make it to the Shaw Christmas party and we were SO excited to be able to go this year! There were so many people there we love, fun activities, tons of yummy food and even Santa Clause and one of his elves! We had so much fun.

 Azuree played Baby Jesus in the nativity scene :)

 Azuree sat on Santa's lap for the first time! I don't think she knew what to think of him. I think she mostly wanted to play with his long, white beard :)

 CHRISTMAS MORNING! 

Kiley got me a jogging stroller (that's that big thing in the corner), pepper spray and a taser. He is so funny :)

 Our good friend Aaron was able to come and spend Christmas with us which was so fun! We always love it when he can come visit us :)

Of course, playing with the box instead of the toy :)

These are the stockings I made! My sister-in-law gave me the pattern for them and I was pretty happy with how they turned out. (Thanks Misty!!) Also, I loved our stocking "hangers?" :)

 We didn't get very many pics of Christmas but we got a lot of videos. If I can figure out how to upload videos on my blog I'll post a few :)

Finally Blogging Again!

I am finally blogging again! Yay! Things have been kind of crazy and here's the crazy story: first I loose my camera and all the pic's that were on it, then our computer dies on us, Kiley spends a month trying to resurrect it, he finally gets it working (he's so good :), then we can't find our router password so Kiley spends forever trying to reset the router, he finally get's it reset and we are able to connect to the internet, I can't find our other camera, finally I find it, and HERE I AM! :) It's so good to have a working computer again. I'm so glad I have a wonderful husband who is willing to try his hardest to fix things, even if they are things he has never fixed before! (I've noticed that he usually succeeds in fixing them :) I love you Kiley!

Anyways, these are a few random pics of Azuree we have accumulated over the past few months!

Funny story: Kiley got me a hair cover/net thingy to wear at night cause he doesn't like getting my hair in his face...but sadly there is no way I would ever wear it! It just seems so...old-ladyish to me. So Daddy decided to put it on Azuree to show me it wasn't so bad. As cute as it looks on her, I would still never wear it :)

Daddy's little Princess!

We were at  my parents house for Thanksgiving and these are the Christmas ornament crafts that we did as a family. They turned out so good! Everyone was so creative!

This is the swimsuit our landlady gave Azuree for Christmas (we let Azuree open it a little early :). She is so good to us. We couldn't ask for a better place to live and a better landlady...at least for now :).

This daddy loves his little girl and this little girl loves her daddy :)
