Life...Back in July & August

Guess what...I started this post on 8/17. Ya, life has been kind of crazy around here with school starting and the tenants moving in and getting settled. But now I feel like life has kind of slowed down a bit. So I'll just finish this post and then post another one of life after 8/17 :)
Azuree sure gets spoiled by her Aunts and cousins! She loved this gift that they gave her :)
When Azuree was about Emri's age we took a picture of her wearing Kiley's mom's glasses...and if memory serves me correctly she was wearing those exact same PJ's too. So I had to capture the moment :)
These little girls just love each other!...most of the time. Azuree is quite the little attention hog though. I thought that would go away when they both got a little older...but I think it may have become slightly worse ha ha. Oh well, she should grow out of it eventually...right?
Horsey rides!
The 4th of July parade was fun!...for Azuree at least :) Emri was super fussy and tired almost the whole time. She eventually fell asleep in her stroller and once she did that the parade was a little more enjoyable ;)
We were at a very busy spot in the parade so Azuree wasn't able to get very many treats. But a very nice lady passing out otter pops ran out as soon as she got to Azuree. I think she could tell that Azuree was very disappointed because she went all the way back to her float, grabbed another one, and brought it all the way back to Azuree. It was so nice and it most definitely made Azuree's day! I was very grateful to that lady :)
After the parade we headed up Cedar Canyon where Christian, Melanie and some of their friends were camping out for the weekend. We decided we would join them for the afternoon and some dinner. Emri didn't eat much food tho...I think it was because she ate so much dirt! Yes that is mud not chocolate around her lips ha ha.
Hee hee hee!
We went for a quick swim in the nearby reservoir.
We weren't planning on swimming so the girls didn't have swim suits, so we improvised :)
The water was pretty cold but the girls loved it! They didn't want to leave.
This is Emri...rolling around in the dirt. Why she enjoyed this so much is a mystery to me ha ha.
Emri fell asleep in her stroller again. She was so cute :)
It started raining pretty hard on us so we threw up the canopy and hung out under it for about an hour or so.
This is Azuree with her Uncle Layton waiting for Uncle Garrison when he came home from his mission in Mexico. It was very late when we got there, hence the PJ's and messy travel hair :)
My mom is such a beautiful lady!
Garrison's home!!
There was a stuffed bear in the airport and Kiley wanted Azuree to get a picture by it...
She wouldn't get any closer to it than that.
Trying to decide where to go to get something to eat...at 11pm.
On our way back home we stopped in Aurora to see Kiley's family. Brandi and Tyler were here from Texas blessing their new little girl Rachael. It was so fun to see them!
Then the next weekend we went camping for the Jepson family reunion. We look forward to this reunion every year! It's always so much fun! And yes, that is Emri and Dahlance hanging out by the porta-potty ha ha.
Aaron Gale was even able to come :)
As always, my girls couldn't stay out of the dirt.
And for some reason they can't just get their hands and feet dirty. They literally seem to pour it all over themselves and roll in it! Makes for some pretty fun pictures tho.

Kiley's brother Tyler had a potato gun that he used to shoot glow sticks into the air for the kids to chase and gather. It was super cool!
As always there were lots of fun races and games...
Unfortunately Emri wasn't her usual happy self for most of the reunion. She had 4 molars making their way out that weekend. So she spent a lot of the time just sitting in her chair...
I think Wack-A-Cracker was a huge hit! (no pun intended)
Like father like daughter :)
These are some of the most amazing people I know! I am so blessed to be a part of this family!
What a fun reunion!
